Lesson
15 (The team’s for a unique but promoting business to do in 2019)
The
innovation we chose was mozzarella banana, made from selected bananas plus
mozzarella cheese in it. We also add toping to our menus such as chocolate,
green tea, ovomaltine, milo, mocachino, etc. In addition, we also provide
innovations on mozzarella cheese which we present with different color choices,
such as pink, green, blue, red, etc. We use food coloring ingredients that are
safe for consumption so as not to cause side effects. The container we use is
made from cardboard which is safe to use and resistant to water.
The
reason we chose the product, in the past there were bananas with chocolate
topping, this time we add mozzarella in bananas which will be fried to increase
consumer interest because in the previous year mozzarella cheese was very
popular among children and adults besides bananas also had a lot of trust for
our body, if usually children don't like this one, then maybe this innovation
can be used for children or people who don't like bananas.
We
initially marketed this product through social media such as Instagram,
Twitter, Facebook, etc . We also have a store in Depok, so our costumer can
visit our store to order our new products. Currently we have provided delivery
order services with grab food and go food. With the various ordering methods we
see many consumers who are interested to order food with online motorcycle taxi
because more efficient and practical.
The
innovation that we do is in accordance with the times and the lifestyle of the
people. We optimist, we have good prospects for our business to grow more
rapidly and be liked all of people without any constraint from the changing
times with the intention that if the food trend has changed, our products are
keep in interesting for all people. We have a motto, customer satisfaction is
our priority. So we will always giving a good service for our customer.
In
addition to profits, this business also has a loss as the emergence of
competitors who sell similar products. If we do not have other innovations, our
business will decrease and be threatened with bankruptcy. Therefore, a few
month soon we will make new innovations in the menu that we present so that our
business continues to survive and keep up with the times by maintaining quality
in terms of taste and packaging. Besides that the loss is also experienced by
consumers, so far we have not been able to display prices after adding VAT,
because we still have not determined a price that is in accordance with the
capabilities of the consumers and our Break Event Point (BEP) in our business
because we just started this innovation. By looking at how consumers are
interested, later we will add VAT to the price of food.
