Lesson 15 (The team’s for a unique but promoting business to do in 2019)

The innovation we chose was mozzarella banana, made from selected bananas plus mozzarella cheese in it. We also add toping to our menus such as chocolate, green tea, ovomaltine, milo, mocachino, etc. In addition, we also provide innovations on mozzarella cheese which we present with different color choices, such as pink, green, blue, red, etc. We use food coloring ingredients that are safe for consumption so as not to cause side effects. The container we use is made from cardboard which is safe to use and resistant to water.

The reason we chose the product, in the past there were bananas with chocolate topping, this time we add mozzarella in bananas which will be fried to increase consumer interest because in the previous year mozzarella cheese was very popular among children and adults besides bananas also had a lot of trust for our body, if usually children don't like this one, then maybe this innovation can be used for children or people who don't like bananas.

We initially marketed this product through social media such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc . We also have a store in Depok, so our costumer can visit our store to order our new products. Currently we have provided delivery order services with grab food and go food. With the various ordering methods we see many consumers who are interested to order food with online motorcycle taxi because more efficient and practical.

The innovation that we do is in accordance with the times and the lifestyle of the people. We optimist, we have good prospects for our business to grow more rapidly and be liked all of people without any constraint from the changing times with the intention that if the food trend has changed, our products are keep in interesting for all people. We have a motto, customer satisfaction is our priority. So we will always giving a good service for our customer.

In addition to profits, this business also has a loss as the emergence of competitors who sell similar products. If we do not have other innovations, our business will decrease and be threatened with bankruptcy. Therefore, a few month soon we will make new innovations in the menu that we present so that our business continues to survive and keep up with the times by maintaining quality in terms of taste and packaging. Besides that the loss is also experienced by consumers, so far we have not been able to display prices after adding VAT, because we still have not determined a price that is in accordance with the capabilities of the consumers and our Break Event Point (BEP) in our business because we just started this innovation. By looking at how consumers are interested, later we will add VAT to the price of food.

Lesson 14 (Suggesting a New Business to be Operated to Again a Competitive Advantage)

Hari     : Today, there are many innovations in the culinary business, then how to make our culinary business able to compete with other culinary businesses?

Giovani: We have to cooperating with company of Gojek and Grab in terms of logistics?

Thesya : It sounds pretty good, so we can simultaneously advertise our products in the Gojek and Grab application

Mutiara: Right, because nowadays there are many culinary business that cooperation with the company in terms of logistics. So I think we will be able to compete with other culinary business

Hari     : And then how to attract the consumers?

Eryan   : Due to our innovation products are just being marketed, I think giving discount prices is the right way for consumers to be interested in our products

Giovani: I have a suggestion, we have social media especially Instagram, why we don’t to advertise our products into social media? And we can also invite Instagram celebrity to endorse our products

Thesya: I have a friend who was so famous at instagram, and I will try to contact her whether willing to endorse our products

Mutiara: I agree with you. I hope that by doing promotions like this and cooperation with company of Gojek and Grab, our products can be available for all around Indonesia.

Hari     : How about the others, do you agree?

Eryan   : Yes, I think it’s a good strategy

Lesson 13 (Describing Business Trend in 2019)

In 2019 we will innovate on our food menu. Various kinds of food, drinks, and culinary lifestyles in 2018 inspire our innovation. The innovation tends to snack but can be satiate. One of our innovations is healthy food, such as bananas and oatmeal, bananas and yogurt, whole wheat bread and avocados, etc.

We will combine these materials according to consumer demand in a plastic bowl container that is easy to carry anywhere.

The audiences, we are introduced our latest product innovation. The flowers board can be decorate or draw the buildings or faces by the flowers, suit by costumers order and we put tumblr lights to make flowers board more beautiful. We also provide iron or aluminum as the base for the flowers board. We used light iron to make it move easier and more flexible. Our latest innovations purpose to attractive the consumers to buy our products. We have some question from the audiences, and let my partner to answer all of question

Purwoko:

“How to turn on the lights on outdoors?”

The tumblr lights that we use on this flowers board has used battery power as a power source to turn on the lights, so the tumblr lights on our bouquets board flowers can be used indoors and outdoors.

Giovanni:

“Why do you use iron or aluminum base material for flowers board?”

We use iron or aluminum so that flowers board don’t fall easily when blown by the wind and can be used more than once.

Thesya:

We provide the latest innovations for flowers board by using tumblr lights and basic materials of iron or aluminum, so it looks more attractive and more sturdy when blown by the wind. We hope that people will be interested on our innovations and immediately order our latest products.

Mutiara          : Our store has been established for 7 years, but there is no innovation about advertising our products. Should we change the way we advertise our products?

Giovanni         : It’s a good idea, so we can attract more consumers than before.

Purwoko          : I think we should using an official website to advertise our products to customer.

Mutiara            : Hmm it sounds pretty good, we don't have to spend a lot of money and make it easier for consumers to see and order our products.

Eryan               : May I giving  another opinion? What if we advertise our products using

social media too? Like Instagram, line, Facebook, etc.

Purwoko         : Why we should prefer social media rather than advertise on the website?

Eryan              : Because at this time, people tend to use social media and unwilling  to look directly              at the website. And we don’t need to pay anything if we make an account of social media.

Giovanni        : It seems like both of them can be used to advertise our products to be better known by the peoples.

Mutiara      : During we just published it through websites and social media, we will also give discounts to attract many consumers.

Purwoko         : I think, our delivery service is effective because there is no need to bother the customer.

Eryan               : But, how if the flowers board is damaged on the way or flung by the wind on the way?

Giovanni         : It’s a good question. I think we should buy a new car which is has box, like box cars or truck.

Mutiara            : Box cars are cheaper than the trucks. So box cars is the right vehicle for our florist.

Eryan               : Yes I agree with you. With box cars we don’t have worried the flowers board flung or broken and also we don’t need to bundle the flowers board. So, we could efficient about the times.

Purwoko          : Hmm it sounds good. But, may I give an opinion?

Mutiara            : Yes of course. We never forbid anyone to give them opinion and I always  happy to see another opinion.

Purwoko          : Okay, thank you. Even though we have a box cars, I think we have to keep  the flowers board is safe and clean. I suggest we must wrap the flowers board with plastic to make sure for our customers we always giving a good services and make them satisfied.

Giovanni         : I think so, that treatments could attract many customers to order our products.
